Update on the potential snow situation for the northeast!

by craig1

Hello everyone, as promised doing another update to update everyone in the northeast at potential for some snow to fly early next week as a powerful trough digs deep into the eastern United States. For now we will take a look at some key computer model data;

18z GFS;

Notice that the 18z gfs has the system further off shore and not as wrapped up as last nights 0z european model.

12z EURO;

Has the storm system further west with portions of PA and New York seeing snowfall, and yes even some accumulations possible with that run.

The JMA model is REALLY obnoxious looking with a huge snowstorm for the entire northeast, but I will not trust that one on this.

One thing for sure snow potential is increasing for parts of the northeast, mainly for parts of PA and New York state.

Please stay tuned for more information!
