0z model changes for possible central plains storm mid next week?

by craig1

Hello everyone and good early Wednesday morning. Just a quick model forecast discussion from the overnight 0z models, it appears that most models have taken out the possibility of a storm system occuring over the northeast and instead forming somewhat of a storm system over the plains and Great Lakes with snow possible.

Canadian model;

The canadian model now has deformation snow band across Nebraska and parts of Iowa with the storm system moving through northern Missouri early next Tuesday.

EURO model;

The european model is much flatter with the storm system but has taken out the possibility of a northeastern winter storm system.

Will bave more updates after 12z models today. Stay tuned!
